Can fava beans bring your body back into balance if you have the symptoms of Parkinson Disease? This has clearly been Sandra Bowman’s experience.
Sandra makes a tincture from fava beans that she grows on her land in Tennessee. The tincture gives her unbelievable relief from the symptoms of Parkinson’s.
Sandra talked about her research using fava beans on the Parkinsons Recovery radio show on February 4, 2010. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/parkinsons-recovery. During the interview with Sandra, I promised to establish a website where people interested in growing and harvesting their own fava beans could exchange their experiences. This website fulfills my commitment to Sandra and to all other persons interested in learning more about how to grow and harvest their own fava beans.

May I ask if its not recommended to take Fava if you are taking Levodopa (synthetic dopamine)
Sabrina, exactly the right question to ask!
Hi All:
Usually Aunt Bean answers all of these questions. On this particular question,
it is best to ask your medical doctor who is familiar with medications
and is qualified to answer. They would be your best resource to respond.
